Pain Relief, God's Healing and The Book of Revelation

What God showed me about healing and how it ties to the Book of Revelation.

I don't understand how God heals. I just know that when I (my soul and heart) know the deep presence and Truth of God, physical pain INSTANTLY disappears! God has certainly taken me on a journey since I left medical training all those years ago.

In many situations, especially when going through any kind of hardship or pain, the Holy Spirit reminds me that Jesus did not "fight" except when he violently drove away money-changers (things of mammon) from the temple. In us, mammon can also be seen as reality that is NOT of the Kingdom of God. In our spiritual temple, the Holy Spirit points us to Jesus Christ and it is Jesus, the Alpha and Omega, who drives away the mammon our soul/body is powerless over.

When I experienced pain due to hayfever/rhinitis recently, I was actually "worshipping" the reality of pain, i.e. I was putting my experience of pain over the truth and reality of God. The pain wasn't life-threatening obviously but it was bad enough that I was fighting it tooth and nail.

Then the thought came - "how easily it would all go away if I had some simple medication millions of other people have at this time of the year."

The Holy Spirit told me to resist the "devil" and pointed me to Jesus instead. I repented and decided to believe what I knew was true about God. I internally resisted giving reality to any thoughts of healings, easy fixes and fighting anything.

"The Kingdom of God IS at hand." Matthew 3:2

"Though He slay me, yet will I TRUST in Him." Job 13:15

"Blessed are the MEEK for they shall inherit the earth" Matthew 5:5

I repented from worshipping egoic and natural (carnal) inclination to fight the pain.

IMMEDIATELY, God entered and filled my mind with HIS Truth instead. My body felt deep, unbelievable healing and all pain VANISHED INSTANTLY -- infinitely faster than any fixes offered in the world we see/hear.

God showed me the history of the pain, why it started and the roots of it, planted many, many years ago. It was as if something was being uprooted spiritually as the Lord was showing me all that.

In the same way, since God brought my spirit to life, I've experienced many other instances of Jesus Christ uprooting entire "thorny plants" (in the spirit) which are somehow burnt to nothing and as if they'd never existed in the first place.

God then showed me how Revelation 21 talks about exactly this!

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having been prepared as a bride having been adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying:

“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,

and He will tabernacle with them,

and they will be His peoples,

and God Himself will be with them as their God.

And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,

and death will be no more

nor mourning nor crying nor pain;

they will be no more,

because the former things have passed away.”

And the One sitting on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He says, “Write this, because these words are faithful and true.” 

And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one thirsting I will give of the spring of the water of life freely. The one overcoming will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.

But to the cowardly and unbelieving and having become abominable and murderers and the sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their portion is in the lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21: 1-8 (Berean Literal Bible)

When God makes us "NEW" again, we are in the reality that is NOT of this world, as the world sees it. The healing we experience too, OF God, is NOT of this world. It isn't a process of something getting better.

In fact, God's Healing is not even a FIX, like the world's bandages, repairs, defences, reprogramming or evolution. It's an UNVEILING of Lord Jesus Christ and His Kingdom, in us and our life.

We don't create the Kingdom because the Kingdom is already here :) whether we see it in our body, soul, family, city, country or world; or whether we see it biologically, meteorogically, ecologically or spiritually.

John's vision of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is what happens to us in our life :) God patiently walks our understanding through it :) ... to the extent of our belief.

"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you to the age— the Spirit of truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not see Him nor know. But you know Him, for He abides with you and He will be in you.

I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you. Yet a little while, and the world sees Me no more, but you see Me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. The one having My commandments and keeping them, he is the one loving Me. Now the one loving Me will be loved by My Father. And I will love him, and will show Myself to him.”

Judas (not Iscariot) says to Him, “Lord, then what has occurred, that You are about to manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and will make a home with him."

John 14:15-23 (BLB)

"But you have come to Mount Zion, and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, and to the assembly, to the church of the firstborn having been enrolled in theheavens, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous having been perfected, and to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkling of blood, speaking better things than that of Abel." Hebrews 12:22-24 (BLB)

The fantastic truth about Jesus Christ is that he has already overcome death and hell itself. Paul confirmed, even in his time, that his audience had arrived at Mount Zion already, where illness, death and hell have no reality.

Are we prepared to be shown this by our Heavenly Father in our life, before any bodily death?
